Jeff Kaplan- Owner- Innuwidow

Jeff Kaplan

Jeff has been in the retail industry for over 36 years and founded Innuwindow in 1989 with his wife Ellen Cohen Kaplan. He is the third generation in his family to be in the window treatment business – his grandfather supplied local department stores with curtains during the Great Depression. Jeff has always put a high value on customer service and believes, as did his ancestors, that business is about more than making a sale. As an independent retailer, Jeff founded the National Independent Textiles Retailers Organization in 1994 as a support group for independent stores like Innuwindow. This group allowed retailers to sit together and exchange ideas. Jeff and Ellen have three sons, Josh, Dana, and Jordan all of whom all of whom grew up helping out around the store or on the road with our installation team. Jeff and family are avid cyclists, skiers, and travelers.
