Massimo grew up in his family’s
fabric and decorating business, just a stone’s throw from
the Forum and Coliseum in Rome. Since coming to the U.S., he has
worked in the visual and decorating industry. Massimo has been with
Innuwindow for over seven years. He has a tremendous eye for colors
and inherited his creative talents from his ancestors who decorated
many of the great hotels and homes in Rome. Massimo has the innate
ability to visualize a complete room with its many pieces –
all from a little fabric swatch. He also is a great resource for
some classic Italian recipes and unique places to visit in Italy
and other European spots. Along with English and Italian, Massimo
is also fluent in Spanish. |

Ruth was an Innuwindow customer before she ever sold a shade. She
was offered a job when she found a perfect wood blind color and
style herself after stumping the designer helping her. She has been
part of the Innuwindow family since that day in 1997. Ruth’s
clients appreciate her ability to comfortably step them through
the decorating process. Her clients trust her so much they look
to her for advice on a variety of things. She is extremely talented
at putting different fabrics and colors together and makes great
silk floral arrangements for her clients. |

Rick came to Innuwindow while the Natick store was being built.
In fact, he spent his first few weeks with paint on his hands and
a drill always close by as he worked to get the store set up and
opened. And he hasn’t stopped. Rick is responsible for much
of what you see in the store. He spends much time working on both
store layout and product selection and attends various markets each
year in search of the unique products you see at Innuwindow. In
addition, Rick is a talented designer. While he focuses on the store,
Rick is also busy designing window treatments and furniture for
his various clients and interior designers he has worked with over
the years. He is the product expert on most products sold at Innuwindow.
Rick is an avid traveler and has spent extended periods in China,
Greece, Europe, and South America. |

Jeff has been in the retail industry for over 23 years and founded
Innuwindow in 1989 with his wife Ellen Cohen Kaplan . He is the
third generation in his family to be in the window treatment business
– his grandfather supplied local department stores with curtains
during the Great Depression. Jeff has always put a high value on
customer service and believes, as did his ancestors, that business
is about more than making a sale. As an independent retailer, Jeff
founded the National Independent Textiles Retailers Organization
in 1994 as a support group for independent stores like Innuwindow.
This group allowed retailers to sit together and exchange ideas.
Many aspects of Innuwindow come from ideas generated at these meetings.
Jeff and Ellen have three sons, Josh, Dana, and Jordan all of whom
can be seen running around the store or flying their latest paper
airplanes. |
